You me and all of Humanity signed Up to be traveling On this wild caravan Ride on Gaia Here and now. Each one of us As vast as the sky As radiant as the sun Stuffed into a tiny Earth suit. The Great Creator Such a trickster- Created each one of us To forget that we are Unlimited Creative Magical Masters of Love. Our forgetting Plays out in a life Play of remembering We forget that we Are not our bodies As we say: “I don’t like my nose!” We forget that we are not our pain- As we say: “My pain is all of me. Woe is me!” We forget our mind is Not divinely designed To run the show Strategizing Separating Comparing With ego’s desires- Locking the door Of our heart. Fear of death Stalking Us to create more Fears the driver of choice We forget We don’t even know What we are here to Remember. And so we devour: Addicted to the The Past The Future To the Glittering glamour Of Highs and lows Running from Running to Devouring More and more To feel Secure
We scream: ‘I am God!’ Dominating Dueling with The dualities Because we forget That we are the Light that weaves The dualities into A harmonic Whole.
We forget the one We label evil Also forgot For that one is just Another me In a different costume Same fears A different role to play In this Great Play of Remembering And these forgetful Ones are in the most Pain for they are In it for their own gain Which is a ruse to disguise Their one true longing Which is all of our longings: To Love And Be Loved This great play of remembering Plays out throughout lifetimes- One lifetime a Roman soldier- Learning the value of surrender. The next lifetime an Egyptian cat- Learning the value of relaxation. Slithering into the next Earth suit of a prostitute- Learning the value Of Feminine power. And on and on Until… A Messenger! An accident A kindness from a stranger A terminal diagnosis A magical synchronicty A look into the eyes Of another Into the dark abyss Beyond the pain Where the Light Of Love Lives. And we recognize: ‘I’m another you!’ We remember: IAM When Moses asked God: Who are you? GOD replied: IAM THAT IAM AND THAT’S ALL THAT IAM Said GOD as Popeye the sailorman. Remembering IAM that IAM Ceases the cycle Of endless suffering Rips up the old reactionary Victim-dominator story Fueling the play Of forgetting. IAM Is the beginning of Creation.
